REQUIRED: Literacy

  • SELF-STUDY: Literacy in Learning (30 Hours)
    This course helps teachers meet the standards North Carolina State Board of Education related to Literacy including evidence-based assessment, diagnosis and intervention strategies for students who are not demonstrating reading proficiency. This course encourages teachers to use literacy-related activities such as oral language, phonemic and phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension.
