With Moodle, What You See is What You Get

WYSIWYG means What You See Is What You Get. This term is used to describe the editor used when you are using many of the tools in the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). You can see this in the image here.
As you can see here, this editor is very similar to the editor in the word processing programs many of us use. WYSIWYG is used in word processing, but also in many places on the web. WYSIWYG allows online course instructional designers who are not familiar with HTML code to design content online. When you are creating resources and activities in your own online course, you’ll use the WYSIWYG editor features to create and design the material that appears on the page for the online learner to see.
After turning editing on in your classroom, click on the edit icon (this usually looks like a little hand with a pencil) in the topic section of your course (this is the very first section of your course – at the top). This will let you see the WYSIWYG editor and also add your course title and course description to the top of your course.
