NEA Academy Courses
As a partner with the NEA’s Member Benefits Corporation, Professional Learning Board is required to share the names, states and course enrollments for all individuals enrolling in NEA Academy courses offered through Professional Learning Board with NEA Member Benefits Corporation.
Education Sponsors
Professional Learning Board works with education sponsors who pay for online courses for educators or sponsor discounts on courses for educators through Professional Learning Board. PLB reserves the right to share information with education sponsors about individuals who participate in the Education Sponsor’s program with Professional Learning Board.
Graduate Courses
Professional Learning Board may be required to share personal data, e.g. name and grade, with graduate credit issuing institutions in order to process graduate credit issuance.
Employer Paid Courses
Professional Learning Board may share relevant personal and course performance information with schools and districts that pay for an employee’s enrollment in courses offered through Professional Learning Board.
Certificate of Completion Verification
Professional Learning Board provides automated and manual verification of certificates of completion. The information provided includes name, course name, and date and time of course completion.
Children and Parents
Professional Learning Board does not intend to collect personally identifiable information from children under age 18. Where appropriate, Professional Learning Board will instruct children not to submit personal information. If your child has submitted personal information and you would like to request that such information be removed, you may do so as indicated above and Professional Learning Board will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request.
