Word-Rearrangements

Sometimes, a simple re-arrangement of words can result in extraordinary messages. I recently came across something that caught my attention, and made me think. A woman wrote about being NO-WHERE vs NOW-HERE. It’s the same words, just split and perceived differently. Instead of thinking that there’s no-where to go, or that the future looks bleak, we can look at our current situation and realize that we are now-here and make the most of the present (after all, present does also mean “a gift”).
It’s so true that sometimes when we look at a situation in a slightly different way, it can completely change how we understand it.
As teachers face day-to-day obstacles in our classrooms and our lives, try to seek and focus on that which is positive. In other words, remember to be here, now.
Please share, what are other interesting word-rearrangements?
