Check Out the New Blog HealthyLivingAs the spring and summer sports season are well under way, and everyone is firing up the grill and grabbing the best seats for games, it’s a great time to think about how we can motivate kids to be fit. Sports activities are such a fun way to encourage kids to move, exercise and burn some calories. The one thing that makes sports different from fitness exercise is that the goal is just to have fun and not to get fit or lose weight. Sports also provide a great excuse to hang out with friends and do something enjoyable. And finally, many kids, of all ages, have a sportsperson they consider to be their role model. This in itself, can be a great driver to encourage children to get out in the sun and practice playing a sport.

This sports season, lets encourage our kids to learn and play the sports that they enjoy watching and cheering.
