Are We Growing With Technology ?

Recently gtalk stopped operations, and a huge number of people who depended on gtalk had to look for other ways to communicate. I myself was one of these people who would use gtalk to communicate with friends and family. Initially, it was inconvenient. But soon, as I started looking for other options, I realized that there is so much more to discover. Sometimes we settle for less just because it’s familiar. Today there are lots of different ways to communicate- share pictures and comment on them, work in teams, discuss on group video calls etc. If I confined myself to using gtalk, I would never have been able to benefit from these advances in technology.

It’s the same with PowerPoint, email and other technology that we are familiar. It’s always comfortable to stay there without exploring further. This week, I challenge you to discover new technology.
