Moodle Online Classroom Set-Up Tip

When you look at your course when editing is turned on, you’ll notice that there is an edit icon (the little hand with a pencil) at the top of each section of your course. This is the space where you can label each week of your course as well as add a course introduction. It’s a good idea to lay out your course and set each week up with a simple header such as “Week 1” and any topic information or introduction that you feel is necessary.
In the very first section of the course put your course title, a course description and additional information that students will need for success in the course (syllabus, rubric, expectations, etc). Set this section up right away.
