Slepian of Columbia University showed that people wearing formal clothing have higher scores on a scalethat measures\u00a0abstract thinking, than people wearing casual clothes. The difference in the scores\u00a0is enough to make a person think twice before getting dressed in the morning. What\u2019s been a hunch before such as wearing that \u2018lucky sweater\u2019 could really\u00a0impact attitude, thinking\u00a0or\u00a0even performance.<\/p>\n<p>In the field of education, school\u00a0uniforms\u00a0are a constant debate.\u00a0While some\u00a0teachers will say that uniforms for students are essential (and what about for teachers?),\u00a0others\u00a0will argue that school uniforms are\u00a0not needed at all.<\/p>\n<p>This study\u00a0results do reflect\u00a0what\u00a0can be\u00a0observed\u00a0in the world\u00a0of work. Successful executives, leaders and administrators are often dressed in\u00a0more\u00a0formal\u00a0and professional attire\u00a0at work.<\/p>\n<p>What are your thoughts?
