It allows the user to make free video or voice calls over the Internet. Any two computer users with skype accounts and webcams can see and hear each other.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The possibilities of using Skype in the classroom are practically endless! A teacher might connect students with experts in the field, other students and teachers from around the world, or almost anyone who could enhance the learning in a classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the possible benefits are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Connecting with experts<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It isn&#8217;t always possible for experts from the field to visit the classroom and meet and discuss things with the children. Having skype in the classroom can help them talk to the children, even if they cannot make it there.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cross cultural exchange<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skype in the classroom helps in understanding how things happen in a different culture.
