They are readily available and can be bought from a store or be handmade. In fact, often the best borders are handmade.<\/p>\n<p>The border doesn\u2019t always have to be a \u201cstrip\u201d border, it can also be images linked together or related to the concept that is illustrated in the board. For example, if a bulletin board is for mathematics, the border could be made up of numerals or mathematical symbols.<\/p>\n<p>The border is a component of the bulletin board where you can easily get students involved. Pre-cut the borders to size and get the students involved in drawing, coloring or gluing shapes or other objects on them.The first step in constructing a bulletin board is to add the background. In this board<em> (picture attached)<\/em>, the teacher used white paper for the background. She had really wanted to use light blue as her background but did not as that would have blended into her walls.<\/p>\n<p>Next, the border is added. In this bulletin board, the border is a contrasting red color on three sides.
