A Second Chance…

ASecondChanceThis month, I have been reading about people who’s lives changed because someone was willing to give them a second chance. It made me reflect on my own life and relationships with people. Sometimes we come across colleagues, parents or students with whom we struggle. Maybe they let us down, or perhaps didn’t respond to our efforts to help them. Maybe someone even hurt us or betrayed us.

The truth is that all of us, at some point, have hurt or disappointed someone else. And each of us has been given second chances. This week, I encourage you to think of someone who you can give the benefit of a doubt and extend a second chance. Rebuild a friendship, rethink a problem, or just be a little more patient.

Would love to hear your favorite story about someone getting a second chance?
