Lifelong Learning

I was talking to a preschooler the other day and was surprised by his knowledge of planes. This young person could identify many types of planes and correctly name them all. I, on the other hand, can merely distinguish between a jet and a propeller plane (those are two different things, right?).

I was reminded about how much there is to learn, and how each of us are learning everyday. As teachers too, there are always things that we can learn to improve curriculum planning, how we teach students and classroom management. Teachers are always learning too.

On that theme of lifelong learning, Professional Learning Board offers 1 semester credit or PD credit courses. Self-paced Professional Development Credit classes incorporate online content, quizzes, interactivities, instructor involvement and a Course Action Plan you can put to use in your school work environment.
