Lifelong Learning

Lifelong LearningI was talking to a preschooler the other day and was surprised by his knowledge of planes. This young person could identify many types of planes and correctly name them all. I, on the other hand, can merely distinguish between a jet and a propeller plane (those are two different things, right?).

I was reminded about how much there is to learn, and how each of us are learning everyday. As teachers too, there are always things that we can learn to improve curriculum planning, how we teach students and classroom management. Teachers are always learning too.

On that theme of lifelong learning, Professional Learning Board offers 1 semester credit or PD credit courses. Self-paced Professional Development Credit classes incorporate online content, quizzes, interactivities, instructor involvement and a Course Action Plan you can put to use in your school work environment. Receive 1 semester Professional Development Credit through a regionally accredited university. Learning takes place asynchronously, at your convenience, and may be completed over a period of 4 weeks. Note, teachers looking for graduate credits, please check with your issuing authority about whether it will accept these online teacher courses for graduate credit. Spring term (only 2 weeks left!) ENROLL NOW with the university – before noon on May 15th.

See why teachers love these classes.
